Celebrating the city's education superstars across 12 award categories

The Teach Portsmouth Awards made a fantastic comeback on Thursday 12 June 2025 at the iconic Portsmouth Guildhall, shining a spotlight on the incredible achievements of our city’s education workforce.

With 12 award categories, the evening was all about recognising the dedication and passion of those who make a real difference in our schools and colleges.

A huge thank you to all the amazing organisations who supported the event through gold and silver sponsorships. From having award categories named after them to presenting trophies and gaining great promotional opportunities — their support helped make this year’s celebration the best one yet!

Meet our previous sponsors

Last year, Teach Portsmouth recognised the city's school superheroes in different ways. The University of Chichester Academy Trust and Salterns Academy Trust co-sponsored a celebration event for long service to education at Portsmouth Guildhall.

Nys Hardingham, CEO of Salterns Academy Trust said:

"We're thrilled to be able to support Teach Portsmouth once more in their celebration of long service to education.

"We want those who have experience to stay working in our schools to support the next generation of thinkers and doers. This event is one way we can do that as a community."

Jennese Alozie, CEO of the University of Chichester Academy Trust said:

"The University of Chichester Academy Trust is proud to co-sponsor the Teach Portsmouth long service to education event, recognising an all-important milestone in the career of school staff.

"This event celebrates the achievements of individuals who have given their lives to Portsmouth for two decades or more.
